At East Coast Bays Dental we are contracted with Health New Zealand to provide free treatment for qualifying teenagers from School Year 9 up until their 18th birthday.

Many dental services are available for teens including:
*Please note Orthodontics (braces) or orthodontic related extractions, teeth whitening or ACC claims are excluded from this scheme.
During an adolescent dental appointment, the dentist will assess teeth, gums, and overall oral health. This includes scaling and removal of plaque and tartar while providing preventative advice to support good oral hygiene and reduce the risk of dental problems as adult teeth develop.
Parents or caregivers are welcome to be involved during examinations and discussions if they wish. This approach is supportive and educational, helping young people feel comfortable and informed about their dental care.
